Case study of BSC’s rust-free and solvent-free products

Publish Time: 2024-02-21
In petrochemical, electric power, gas, steel, metallurgy and other fields, hot work is not allowed during production operations. Although hot work such as grinding and sandblasting can be performed after shutdown, this form of surface treatment will consume a lot of money. A lot of time and expense. And customers cannot perform emergency maintenance.
Customers who have used anti-corrosion coatings know that the quality of surface treatment directly affects the final anti-corrosion effect. Therefore, although better quality anti-corrosion coatings are used, in most cases the anti-corrosion effect does not meet expectations.
In order to solve the problem of surface treatment, BSC has developed a two-component, rust-free, solvent-free polysulfide-modified epoxy anti-corrosion coating. This product creatively combines adhesive and coating technology to absorb The adhesive has strong substrate adhesion characteristics. This solves the problem of difficulty in completely removing rust.
As long as loose floating rust is removed, this product can be painted, and the adhesion can reach more than 8MPa. This product has passed the 5000-hour salt spray test and can meet the highest level of anti-corrosion requirements of ISO 12944.
